#### Problem
The second trial order from Stahl Nord (1.4404 round bar, 18 mm, 1.2 tonnes) arrived without the 3.1 material certificate. Without the certificate we may not use the material for medical parts.

#### What we did
- Goods receipt booked the bars as blocked stock with the label "quarantine: certificate missing".
- Elena Rossi called Stahl Nord; the certificate came by email two days later and the material was released.

Decision: Any delivery that arrives without a 3.1 material certificate goes into quarantine (blocked stock); nobody uses the material until Quality has checked the certificate.
Why: medical customers audit our material traceability; one part without a certificate can cost us the customer.
