#### Where we stand with Acier Léman
Acier Léman SA has supplied our steel bar stock since 2014. In the first half of 2026:
- 9 of 22 deliveries were late, on average by 6 working days.
- Two deliveries came without the 3.1 material certificate; Thomas Huber had to block the material until the papers arrived.
- They announced a price increase of 14 % from January 2027.

Lukas Brunner: the late deliveries caused two weekend shifts on Line 2 in May.

#### Alternatives
Elena Rossi asked three suppliers for offers:
- **Stahl Nord AG** (Schaffhausen): 5-day lead time, a 3.1 certificate with every delivery, price about 6 % below Acier Léman's current price.
- **Ferro Ticino SA**: good prices, but no stainless 1.4404 in the diameters we need.
- A German distributor: 3 weeks lead time, no stock in Switzerland.

Sandra Meier wants the full yearly cost, not only the price per kilo: freight and the cost of late deliveries count too.
